VFS Forum
The first education seminar for this year is about VFS (originally known as Visa Filing Services). 39 participants eagerly attended the forum at the main office of VFS Manila. With the combined efforts of the Education Committee Head - Ms Reina and Ms Abby, this forum provided attendees with lots of useful information about visa filing and processing that was handled by the VFS Office.
General Manager Mr Jesal Anada shared great inputs on the topic assigned.

The 2nd
General Membership Meeting is another successful event for the association. We
have the most numbers of attendees to date – 130 guests (members, sponsors,
guests) and 24 sponsors combined (table top and presenter). The feedback is
overwhelming that we have to decline some sponsors due to limited availability
of space. Guests are also enthusiastic to come to our new home –SEDA VERTIS
NORTH. This newly opened hotel in Quezon City generously accepted our
sponsorship proposal thru the effort of Mr Jopet Abella – Assistant Director of
Sales.
Our Resource Speaker
is USEC BENITO “BONG” BENGZON JR , the Under Secretary for Tourism Development
Planning. He shared information regarding our topic – Effects of ASEAN
Integration on Philippine Tourism.
We welcome 8 new
members, making us to 186 total members.
As the raffle for the
PPP-Pamasko, Pa-raffle, Panalo has been long overdue, we finally draw the
winners and handed the donation to the PCMC Medical Director – DR JULIUS
LECCIONES with the total cash of 90,000pesos and some in kind donations of toys
and use clothes.
Overall, the active
participation of the members and the unending efforts of the officers make it
all worth it.
